In 2004, hurricanes ravaged Florida and North Carolina. Remedy transported emergency generators to both states before and after.

In early 2005 Remedy Express, Unkiditional Love Day Care, and the Carbondale Elks held a benefit for 2 year old Jaycee Butler. Jaycee's mother was tragically killed. A performance by The Chris Duarte Group helped to raise money for her education fund.

In June of 2005, another benefit featuring The Chris Duarte Group and local group Panacea was held to benefit The Illinois Elks Crippled Childrens Corporation.

More hurricanes in 2005. We remember the names of Katrina, Wilma, Stan. Again we pulled up our sleeves and went to work. Food, Water, and supplies were transported to hurricane stricken Mississippi, Louisiana and Florida.

On Janurary 20, 2006 a benefit was held at the Carbondale Civic Center in honor of all of our troops deployed overseas. The Chris Duarte Group from Austin Texas again headlined the event. Thank you for your support.
